The story

LAKOR originated from our fascination with the ocean, and with these swim shorts you'll feel the force of the sea on your own body. The design is a humble homage to the famous artwork "The Great Wave off Kanagawa" by Japanese artist Hokusai. This artwork has literally made ripples in the water, and in our interpretation the wave has traveled to the other side of the Earth, where it has risen from the ocean during a starry night in the LAKOR universe.

The material is made from recycled plastic bottles and is without a doubt a product you'll want to use again and again. The shorts are flexible, exceptionally stretchy and very comfortable to wear. We've updated the fit to allow for even more movement, so you can easily wear them on a daily basis. Whether you're a seafarer or a landlubber, these shorts should significantly improve your summer!
