The Story
In 2018, scientists discovered that a puffin's beak glows in the dark. This was already commonly known amongst veteran captains, who, after having noticed this versatile puffin trait, quickly exchanged the parrot on their shoulders for this newer, more modern version. The puffin really shines during night shifts, where it could serve as a reading lamp, whether the captain was reading maps or pirate stories.
