LAKOR wants our digital platforms to be usable and accessible to as many people as possible – regardless of abilities, technology or individual needs. We therefore work continuously to improve the user experience and ensure that content, functions and navigation can be used in a simple, clear and inclusive way.
Our approach to digital accessibility
We strive to follow the applicable guidelines for digital accessibility, including the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at AA level. These guidelines help make digital solutions more accessible for people with different types of disabilities, including users of screen readers, keyboard navigation and other assistive technologies.
Accessibility is an ongoing process, and we continuously work to identify, prioritise and improve areas where our digital platforms can become more accessible.
Accessibility status
Our digital platforms are partially accessible in relation to WCAG 2.1 AA level. This means that many parts of the platforms can be used by most users, but there may still be content or functions that do not yet fully meet all accessibility requirements.
Areas that we continuously assess and improve may include:
- Alternative text for images and graphic elements
- Clear structure in headings and content
- Keyboard navigation and focus indicators
- Contrast between text and background
- Form fields, buttons and links with clear descriptions
- Compatibility with screen readers and other assistive technologies
- Subtitles or text alternatives for visual and audio content
Commitment to continuously improve
We actively work to improve accessibility across our digital platforms. This includes technical improvements, ongoing review of content and a focus on accessibility when introducing new functions, design changes and updates.
Although we strive to make all content as accessible as possible, there may be pages, functions or elements that have not yet been fully adapted. This may be due to technical limitations, third-party solutions or areas that have not yet been identified or resolved.
