The story
I 2018 fandt forskere ud af, at lundernes næb kan lyse i mørket. Denne opdagelse var dog almen viden blandt fortidens kaptajner, som, efter at have fået øjnene op for denne praktiske funktion ved lunden, hurtigt skiftede den papegøje, de havde på skulderen, ud med den nye og moderne “søpapegøje”. Lunden var ideelt selskab på nattevagter, hvor den fungerede som boglampe, hvis kaptajnen agtede at læse søkort eller en piratnovelle.
