The Story
Together with the Danish adventurers Theis and Emil we have developed a pair of swim shorts made for adventures.
The shorts are the perfect travel companion, whether you will use them for swimming or as casual shorts. The high range of motion enables a comfortable fit. To protect your house keys, car keys or the keys for the boat, we added a small pocket on the inside. The side pockets of these shorts have Polynesian symbols on the inside, inspired by the tattoos that Theis and Emil got from locals during their adventure through Polynesia. The symbols on these shorts speak of nature’s eternal change and of love for the sea.
By buying a Havana X Lakor product, you are supporting Plastic Change in their fight against plastic pollution in the seven seas and ‘Together for a Clean Ocean’ who have collected more than 600 tonnes of trash from the ocean.

We are proud to present this collection made with adventurers - and brothers - Emil and Theis Midé Erichsen. The clothing is inspired by their memorable voyages on their boat Havana. Especially their experiences and the tattoos they received from locals in Polynesia.

Plastic from the sea
These shorts are made from SEAQUAL® YARN - a textile made from recycled plastic, some of which is collected by fishing boats along the coast of Europe.

Polynesian art
The polynesian symbols you find in this collection is drawn by Theis and Emils cousin Amanda Midé-Andersen. The patterns are inspired by the brothers journey and the tattoos they received from the locals. The symbols tell stories of mother natures eternal variation and of love for the ocean.
